On Friday 29 September the Bright Night returns to Tuscany, the European Night of Female Researchers and Researchers, the event of the European Community born in 2005 with the aim of spreading scientific culture.

The Bright Night will once again be an opportunity to get closer to research projects, discoveries and innovations on which universities and research institutions work every day through conferences, workshops, laboratories, guided tours and other initiatives designed to involve the general public, including The smallest.

Like every year, the Sant'Anna School will open the doors of its headquarters in Piazza Martiri della Libertà and will offer a very rich program of initiatives, including workshops for schools, interactive stands, experiences in the School library and the Bright_Kids path, where girls and boys can get passionate to science and research.

The promoters of the event are the Tuscan universities: Università di FirenzePisaSienaStranieri di Siena, Sant’Anna School, Scuola Normale Superiore e Scuola IMT Alti Studi Lucca, together with research institutions such as Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), l’Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN), l’Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV), l’European Gravitational Observatory (EGO), l’Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica (INAF).

The Tuscany Region supports the event through the Giovanisì project.
